I can help you build healthy life habits and skills!
Let’s work together to successfully fulfill your responsibilities and achieve your goals on your terms.
what we’ll do
Everyone has unique strengths. Everyone has their own challenges. Everyone’s definition of success is different.
We will discuss these and your personal priorities. We will then work together to develop ANY life skills you want to work on in a deliberate, accountable way.
The foundation of our partnership is a commitment to practice self-awareness as it is the basis of a healthy lifestyle and a strong sense of identity.
We use self-awareness to reflect on and understand our strengths and our struggles. This understanding of ourselves allows us to recognise opportunities to thrive and prepares us for possible challenges. Self-confidence is bolstered when we act on these opportunities and face these challenges. This can lead to improved self-esteem, the belief in ourselves that rises out of successfully navigating life.

why we’ll do it
The increased social responsibilities teenagers are expected to take on can be overwhelming at times, especially as teenagers withdraw from their parents into a hybrid of online and IRL communications and relationships.
This is the perfect time for a teen to work with a mentor, like me, to develop their critical thinking, decision making and social skills in order to form creative solutions that put their wellbeing and interests at the forefront.
Goal setting for success is a highly individualised process. However, there are common life skills that regularly appear in healthy patterns of personal growth, ones that we can practice:
- self-awareness building
- problem solving
- critical thinking
- effective communication
- decision making
- creative thinking
- interpersonal relationship skills (social skills, collaboration)
- empathy (community engagement, volunteering)
- self-care (coping with stress and emotions, exercise, sleep, wellbeing)
In addition to these ‘soft’ life skills, you may also need help developing the ‘hard’ life skills like:
- applying for and keeping a job
- managing your money
- organising an exhibition of your art
- signing up for a cooking class
- accessing community resources
- whatever new it is you want to do
I’d like to help. To see if we match, take my QUESTIONNAIRE.
These ‘hard’ life skills need to be discussed and practiced with someone experienced in these matters like me.
